We built a new rural home in 2022 and fitted 10kW of solar and 28kWh of battery storage. We average 11mwh consumption and 14mwh production annually. System is also 3 phase and allows for 11kW EV charging. Our system also allows our house to operate off grid which is very useful as we have fairly frequent power outages. We have Starlink internet and pump our own water with our own septic system meaning we are 100% self reliant in a major event. There are zero fossil fuels required to run our home.
